Dr. Ellen Langer is a social psychologist and the first female professor to gain tenure at the department of Psychology at Harvard University. She is often referred to as the mother of the Mindful Movement. She is an artist, and the author of eleven books, and over the last 35 years, she’s written more than two hundred research articles for general and academic readers on mindfulness. Ellen is also the recipient of four distinguished scientist awards and the Liberty Science Genius Award.
