About Track

In this week’s episode Nick and Simon discuss what trust in the workplace looks like and how it makes a more effective team.  They discuss the need for a combination of credibility, reliability, and intimacy to be truly trusted as a leader.  They also discuss the concept of self-orientation and how this can affect your trustworthiness levels within a team and the way in which a team sees you as a leader.  They also discuss how policy and process can both help and hinder the level of trust within a team.  They also discuss what happens when the lack of trust in the workplace is on the other foot and results in a tendency to micromanage your team/team members due to your lack of trust in them to complete the job satisfactorily.
